Now being a relative newbie to the blogosphere I would like to have it on the record in advance that I apologize for any differences in taste you might find offensive, after all it is my opinion.

For those of you music fanatics out there whether it be new or old, smooth jazz or heavy metal, from this decade or dating back to the 50's we take pride in what we listen to sometimes to the point of musical snobbery. Let's face it, a good majority of you are probably one of those people.

No matter which category you fall under, I am here to share my highly valued opinion on the music I find to be worth looking at. So what genre will I be talking about? Any and all of them. How can I be an expert in all categories? The obvious answer is that I am not . But hey, music is meant to be observed by as many people as possible regardless of knowledge and who am I to go against that right?
This is not to say I'm not biased towards my personal tastes, everyone is (sorry for any Country lovers out there). What is important in the world of music is to look back to where we've been and how that's gotten us to where we are now.

• 50's Big-Band and Rock 'n' Roll
• 60's British Invasion Pop/rock
• 70's Progressive rock, Disco, Funk/Soul (extremely diverse decade)
• 80's Hip-Hop and Arena Rock -Hairbands anyone?
• Pop revolution from the 90's to today

So I implore you to sit back, read on and listen to the music. It will change you if you let it.
